Amor Hakkar is an Algerian filmmaker as well as a producer, screenwriter and actor currently active in French film industry. He was born on 1 January 1958 in mountainous village Aurès in Khenchela region of Algeria. At the age of 6 months, he arrived France with his parents. Since then, they lived in Besançon. His father Chays Hakkar influenced him to pursuing scientific studies. More
